Third Annual Purple Light Walk

The 2015 Purple Light Walk will be held on Friday, October 2 beginning at Washington Park, just north of downtown Cincinnati. The event will begin with a resource fair at 5:30pm followed by a program at 6:30pm. The 1.5 mile walk will begin at 7:00pm and will loop through downtown Cincinnati. Back by popular demand, the pre-walk event will be emceed by Citizens on Patrol Coordinator at Cincinnati Police District 1, Officer Princess Davis. Please come and “shine your light for the fight against domestic violence!”

The 2015 She Screams Without Sound Candlelight Vigil will be held on the steps of the Hamilton County Courthouse located at 1000 Main Street in downtown Cincinnati. More information to follow.

Not only is cruelty to animals frequently both an indicator and predictor of interpersonal, family, and community violence, but an alarming number of women report that threats to their companion and farm animals prevent them from leaving abusive relationships.
2015′s Bark Out Against Battering event will be held Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 11am to 1:30pm in Washington Park.
