All across the country, communities join together every October to honor survivors and remember victims of domestic violence. Women Helping Women is partnering with other agencies in Hamilton County to host two events for October 2012.

Bark Out Against Battering is a fall festival highlighting the intersection between animal abuse and domestic violence. The event is on Saturday October 20th from 11am to 2pm at the SPCA 11900 Conrey Road, Cincinnati 45249.

The 25th Annual “She Screams Without Sound” Candlelight Vigil is scheduled for Tuesday October 2nd from 5:45pm to 8:00pm on the steps of the Hamilton County Courthouse, 1000 Main Street. This event honors women and children killed in the past year due to domestic violence.
