And yet, while the world seems uncertain and unsure, so many in our community know exactly what this feels like. They know what it is like to navigate a crisis, doing what is necessary to keep a family safe, what it takes to ask for help, what it means to plan ahead, and what it looks like to truly be resilient.
We at Women Helping Women have learned everything we need to know to navigate this crisis from the brave survivors we serve every day. So, we are taking their lead, adapting, and changing our previously scheduled gala at the Zoo to a virtual event!
Please join us on May 6th as we celebrate the journey that so many in our community have been on and many more continue to journey through–a journey to find joy, purpose and meaning through crisis.
While we cannot physically come together as a community, we hope that you will join us virtually for a short program to celebrate these learnings and support our mission of empowering all survivors in our community.
