The Purple Light Walk™ is a free annual event in the Greater Cincinnati area with the mission to raise awareness about domestic violence and to empower survivors with resources, advocacy, and community.
WHW serves as the founding entity, fiscal agent, and lead agency for the event, and along with the entire Purple Light Walk™ committee, welcomes our community to join us to “shine your light for the fight against domestic violence!”

D. Michael Sheline, Section Chief- Crime Victims, at Ohio Attorney General’s Office, will be speaking on Women Helping Women’s groundbreaking program DVERT™ (Domestic Violence Enhanced Response Team) and how this collaborative program with law enforcement is having remarkable regional impact. He will also set the stage for how our innovative Cincinnati program can serve as a model to be replicated throughout Ohio.
