Journey to Joy is Women Helping Women's 50th Anniversary Celebration benefitting the mission of preventing gender-based violence and empowering all survivors. Guests will enjoy an elegant evening honoring our past, celebrating our present, and dreaming of a brighter future beyond violence. The evening includes dinner, drinks, a history installation on WHW's 50 years, silent auction, bourbon and wine raffle, and Community Champion Awards celebrating past Executive Directors and Founders, Dr. Jill Bley, Lucy Crane, Roxanne Qualls, Dr. Helen Magers, Ann MacDonald, and Kendall Fisher.

We are celebrating the strength and resilience of survivors, as well as recognizing our own unique journeys to joy, growth, and healing! Look to a brighter future without gender-based violence in the region.

FAQ:

Dress Code: Black tie or formal attire is encouraged.

Parking: Valet parking will be available as well as nearby lots and street parking.

Drink Tickets: Drink tickets cover beer and wine only. Liquor and mixed drinks will be cash and credit card.

COVID19 Protocols: We will follow current CDC guidelines at the time of the event.

Silent Auction and Raffle Winners: You do not need to attend the event to bid in the auction or buy raffle tickets. Winners will be announced at 9:45pm June 9th. If your prize is not picked up that night, Elliot Draznin will follow up the following Monday to arrange a time to drop off your prize.

VIP Admission - $250

A special VIP cocktail hour will take place from 6:00-7:00 PM, upstairs on the Music Hall Balcony, including an open bar, a string quartet, a visual walk through Women Helping Women's history, networking with WHW leadership and other VIPs, and more fun surprises in store! VIP guests will also receive 2 drink tickets for the bar during the main event.

General Admission - $150

The main event will begin at 7:00 PM in the Music Hall Ballroom, and will include dinner, a cash bar (each guest will receive 1 complimentary drink ticket), music, tabled seating for all guests (sponsor tables are reserved seating), a program featuring a special WHW program, award honoree, and more fun to come!
