Butler County Volunteer Opportunities

Hospital Advocate
Volunteers sign up for on-call shifts to respond to area hospitals to support survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault during days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. *This role requires accepted volunteers to complete our 40-hour training.

Court Advocate
Volunteers are utilized to assist survivors in the court setting, such as providing support in their scheduled hearings or helping walk-ins fill out a civil protection order packet. Shifts are on weekdays either 8am-12pm or 1pm-5pm. *This role requires accepted volunteers to complete our 40-hour training.

Outreach Advocate
Volunteers attend community events during daytime, evening and weekends on behalf of the agency to provide education and information about our programs and services.

Administrative/Clerical Advocate
Our agency needs help in our office organizing documentation, assisting with valuable reports, and supporting the administrative work of our staff.

Special Events Advocate
Volunteers assist with events throughout the year that our agency hosts, such as awareness events or fundraisers. Some of these events include Purple Light Walk and Light Up the Night.
