Community and Corporate Training

WHW strives to raise awareness regarding this issue that affects every race, gender, class, and age every minute of every day. Individuals are suffering physical, emotional, financial, sexual, and verbal abuse at the hands of someone they love. No one deserves to be abused.

What We Do

WHW’s education department provides training for community law enforcement personnel, health care professionals, social service providers and others who work with sexual assault and domestic violence survivors.

We also provide awareness and educational programs for community groups on a range of topics including Dynamics of Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Stalking, Bystander Intervention and many others tailored to the need of your group.

Why We Do It

Our professional and community education programs provide the awareness and education needed for community members to identify abuse and respond effectively to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking and to help prevent these crimes from occurring in our community.

What We Offer

Our education programs are evidence-based, interactive and current to ensure a productive, engaging experience.

We tailor all of our programs to reflect the needs and time frame of the group and/or educator, and can accommodate various models, including, but not limited to, assemblies, small groups and classes.
